The Welfare Association for the Development of Afghanistan (WADAN) is implementing a project focused on providing improved emergency and primary healthcare services, including polio vaccination for children, in underserved and emergency-affected areas of Nangarhar Province. The project ensures access to essential health services through fixed centers, mobile teams, and health camps, with a strong emphasis on maternal and child health, immunization, and family planning. Additionally, it includes community engagement and healthcare worker training to strengthen service delivery and promote public health awareness.

This initiative also prioritizes capacity building and adherence to protection against sexual exploitation and abuse (PSEA) standards. The project will be implemented throughout 2025, addressing critical healthcare needs and improving the well-being of the target population.
